Book Synopsis/ Review

Everyone ~ no matter how big or small, far or near, first or last ~ Matters. Even if you feel lost, sad, or alone~ you matter. Explore different perspectives around the galaxy, from microorganisms to the sun, and see how we are all connected, and we all matter.

From nature to small to see, to giant balls of gas in outer space~ Christina Robinson artistically and shows us that everything on earth and beyond is connected. The simple text and charming illustrations allow for many layers of interpretation. Share a surface level read aloud with little ones and point our what you see in the illustrations, or go deeper in science concepts (explore evolution, mass extinction, and astronomical phenomena) and themes of interconnectedness with older learners. *I Matter* Parachute Craft

There’s not better feeling than feeling like, and believing, that *You Matter.* Making someone feel like they matter is the kindest and most loving act. Inspire and encourage little ones to show and tell others that they matter. Brainstorm different ideas of what you could say and do to help people feel like they matter. Then, talk about what and who are some things and people that matter to them. Remind littles that *They Matter* and encourage them to create this bookish craft inspired by the story to instill this belief!
