MaiStoryBook: Yetis are the Worst + *My Yeti* Craft
Introducing all the reasons why Yetis are the Worst~ featured in the MaiStoryBook Library Collection:
*Yetis are the Worst* by Alex Willan
Book Synopsis/ Review
Move aside unicorns and dragons, according to this Goblin, Yetis are the Worst! Everyone thinks yetis are soooo mysterious, but that’s because they’ve never met one. Gilbert the Goblin is determined to find a Yeti to prove they aren’t as cool and mysterious as people believe them to be. However, they are proving to be harder to find than he thought…or could it be that he’s just not looking in the right places… But what happens when an avalanche launches him right into pit of Yeti-ville?
Prepare for giggles and guffaws as you join Gilbert on his quest to find a Yeti. Littles will laugh as they spy the Yetis Gilbert continues to miss on his search. Filled with lush illustrations of snow and looming Yetis, you will be thrust into a winter wonderland of adventure and humor. Perhaps it just may turn out that Yetis aren’t quite the worst… they may even be quite… friendly?

*My Yeti* Craft
Do you believe in Yetis? If you found one in nature, how would you feel? Scared? Astonished? Excited? When I was younger, whenever we went hiking in the mountains, my siblings and I always kept an eye out for BigFoot’s footprint. It was always exciting to anticipate perhaps seeing this mythical beast. However, if we were to actually come across BigFoot… I think I’d probably be a bit terrified! In the featured craft inspired by the story, *Yetis are the Worst,* littles have a chance to share why they think Yetis are the worst, or to share their own opinion about Yetis. Choose an adjective to describe Yetis, or share what you would do if you spotted a Yeti! Check out the craft template below for a fun winter themed bookish craft!
