This is a book for kids about what it’s like to be an adult, and a book for adults about what it’s like to still be a kid. Adults want new toys too, although they may call them *gadgets*, and adults may even use baby talk when they are in love. This clever read shows us how adult behaviors mirror childlike behaviors, just in different forms, and how important it is to preserve the childlike playfulness and joy within us no matter what our age.

Blue: I’m Sorry by Barry Timms, Illustrated by Sean Julian

In this read, Swoop and Scribble are the best of friends~they are such good friends, that they decide to share a home together. However, when a disagreement about the porch setup leads to a terrible argument, will they be able to resolve their differences? Readers will see that apologies and compromise go a long way to heal hurt feelings and bring friends back together.
